  • We are pleased that you are considering our healthcare center to serve the needs of your loved one.

  • Newport Subacute Healthcare Center is a 137 bed subacute and skilled nursing facility. We are dedicated to having each resident in our facility attain the highest level of functional independence.

  • The 45-bed Subacute Rehabilitation unit has experienced, well trained, licensed nurses and respiratory therapists 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Each pulmonary patient is under the care of a Board Certified Pulmonologist that conducts rounds and reviews the patient's progress at least weekly.

  • Newport Subacute has an excellent clinical team that provides the subacute patients with therapy, emotional support and education to stabilize or reverse both the physio and psychopathology of cardio/pulmonary diseases.

  • We understand the difficult decision which lies ahead of you--it is not easy to accept that for a while someone else will have to care for your loved one.

  • We are ready to help you. Our highly trained professional staff, will make the transition easier. You will not need an interpreter -- we speak several languages. Here are some of them:
